Originally named "The Bolney Stage", was a very old staging post on the London-Brighton route (dating back to 1600's), a 15-20 minute walk from Bramble Cottage.

    The Ansty Cross

Approx. 1.5 miles, has a good restaurant and bar food menu. Serves food from 12 noon - 9.30pm Monday - Saturday, and Sundays until 9pm. Again booking is recommended. Also has a Bar Billiards table.
